Phylisicia Lundy is a multifaceted African American artist hailing from South Georgia. Lundy is a graphic designer, photographer, and ceramicist whose identity deeply influences her work, rooted in a profound love for African American culture, architecture, and humanism. Drawing inspiration from various facets of American culture, Lundy strives to illuminate the shadows and highlight the diverse narratives that shape our society. Her participation in the 2022 and 2023 Day of Inclusion Art Exhibition resulted in an honorable mention in 2022. She was showcased in a three-person exhibition for ArtSpoken in 2023. At the Annual Juried Art Show in 2023, Lundy claimed the second spot for her impactful series, "Formation." Further cementing her presence in the art community in 2024, Lundy presented the painting "Synapsis" at the Turner Center in Valdosta, after earning a scholarship. Her involvement in the 2023 Georgia Undergraduate Research Conference showcased her dedication to exploring societal narratives, as seen in her series "Unspoken Truths."
